This blog is for an experimental documentary that I am working on this year, where I will be shooting video of my experiences in Iran and creating shorts, interactive installations, and/or videoblogs using the footage from my experiences and the experiences of others.

Really interesting work. Not to derail from the images and interactions, but what's the legal status for Americans getting into Iran? I was under the assumption that it was impossible, even if they're of Iranian descent. I'd be curious to know.
Jaim--regarding your question about Americans can come to Iran for:
1. Research and press
2. As tourists (but they need to have a guide, or someone to invite them)
3. If the American also has an Iranian Passport (or any other passport that may be easier to get a visa to Iran with)
